"What a day for my team. They have perservered so much throughout this long, arduous, painful season. They have had to put up with harsh comments from other GM's throughout the season, which at times were uncalled for in my opinion. I mean, can we leave Vlade's days as a sex slave to Serbian potato farmers out of the GBL in future??? The poor 7'1" guy struggles enough to get a board as it is, without the constant verbal abuse flying his way.
And to all those out there who rolled your eyes when Rashy Nesterovic was drafted by the Sky Hooks. Well.... I hope your eyes hurt as a result. And to all those vitriolic GM's who laughed out loud when the name Antonio McDyess was called out by GM Fredman at a mid-season draft, well..... fair enough.
However, he who laughs loud laughs longest and gathers no moss. I am proud to be the first victor of the annual GBL Serie B trophy. I don't see no silverware in your cabinet Commishithouse. I'd like to congratuate GM Wald for his efforts during the Serie B playoff. What more can a GM do with Miller and K-Mart in the frontcourt???
